6 Instant Home Remedies For Healthy Skin In Winter |
- In the winter season the most common skin problems are dry skin, flaky skin, chapped lips, cracked heels and so on. For the chapped lips apply petroleum jelly or ghee but do not make a mistake of licking your lips to make them wet, as it will make them worse.
- Go for a body massage twice a week with any oil you like olive, coconut or even baby oil.
- Winter season is also a time of functions and social gatherings where you cannot avoid make up. No matter how often you apply make up but do not forget to remove it at the end of the day. Use a cleansing milk for cleaning your make up followed by a gentle scrub for exfoliation.
- The changing climate also has a direct effect on hairs. It makes the hairs more dry, frizzy and unmanageable. To avoid this use conditioner after every shampoo.
- Another most common skin problem in winter is the itchy skin. To avoid this moisturize your skin three to four times a day regularly.
- Your diet also plays a very important role in keeping your skin healthy. Eat a balanced diet including vegetables, fruits, grains, seeds and nuts. Eat foods high in sulphur like onion, garlic, asparagus and also foods rich in vitamin B5. Drink at least two to three liters of water. Avoid alcohol and caffeine.
Include these tips in your daily routine and protect your skin from the effects of changing weather.
