Right Way Of Sunscreen Application

A good sunscreen helps to keep your skin looking young. Excessive sun exposure is the leading cause of skin ageing.

Many people apply sunscreen in the wrong way. To maximize your sun protection the sunscreen should be applied properly.

A sunscreen should be applied 30 minutes prior to going outdoors so that the sunscreen is properly absorbed by the skin.

A sunscreen should also be applied to areas such as ears, face, hands, neck and feet as these areas are commonly neglected.

A sunscreen should be reapplied every two hours.

A sunscreen should be used in all seasons as the skin is susceptible to the damaging rays of sun even in winter and cloudy days.

A good broad-spectrum sunscreen that protects against UVA and UVB rays should be used.

For best protection, use your sunscreen with clothing, broad-brimmed hats, sunglasses and shade.
